Ash Mayers is many things:
She is a first-generation Trinidadian American. Growing up between Florida, Trinidad and New York, she grounded herself in her school music and drama departments. Her extensive training at Brooklyn College’s Acting Conservatory, Atlantic Acting School and UCB Training Center has given Ash the confidence to devise her own work; this has manifested as various sketches, stand-up sets, and other solo works. She chases stories that weave humor, song and physical comedy into the queer, BIPOC experience.
Ash is currently an actor on the sketch comedy team, Nothing Bagel, which performs monthly at The PIT. She continues to audition for theater and on-camera work while producing her own digital content. Ash always looks forward to her next storytelling adventure.

“My thing...what I hope to do all the time, is to be so completely myself...that my audiences, people who meet me, are confronted. They’re confronted with what I am, inside and out, as honest as I can be. And this way they have to see things about themselves, immediately.”
- Nina Simone
